The GTA VI leak seems to be far from over. After the gameplay videos, information about the map and even the claim of a possible virtual currency, CyberLeek published another material on Wednesday (19): a supposed list of 25 songs related to the game.
The list draws attention to the mixture. It has rock, hip-hop, pop, electronic music and well-known names, ranging from Joan Jett and Stevie Nicks to Drake, The Weeknd, XXXTentacion and N.W.A.
But there is one detail that makes everything even more curious: two songs on the list we already know very well.
Love Is a Long Road, by Tom Petty, was Rockstar's first trailer. Hot Together from The Pointer Sisters appeared in the second trailer. That is, who assembled or had access to this list put just two tracks that have official connection to the game.
This alone does not prove that the other 23 songs will be on GTA VI. But it's a difficult detail to ignore.

A selection that matches Leonida
Looking at the list as a whole, it seems to make sense within the universe that Rockstar is building for Leonida.
There are songs from different decades and styles, something that has always been a characteristic of GTA radios. At the same time, some choices have a very strong connection with the atmosphere of Florida and mainly with Vice City.
Conga, from Miami Sound Machine, and Rhythm Is Gonna Get You, from Gloria Estefan, are obvious examples. The presence of 2 Live Crew also draws attention to the group's historical connection with Miami.
On the other side are much more current names, such as The Weeknd, Playboi Carti, Drake, Skrilla and Ski Mask The Slump God. If the list is actually related to GTA VI radios, it seems that Rockstar would be trying to do exactly what has always worked in the franchise: mix current songs with tracks that immediately refer to the season and to Place culture.
And there are some choices that just seem made for GTA.
Midnight City, M83, playing while crossing Vice City at dawn is one of those combinations that is not hard to imagine. The same goes for classics like I Love Rock 'N Roll, Higher Love, Everyone Have Fun Tonight and Express Yourself.
But where exactly did that list come from?
That's the point where we need to be careful.
CyberLeek presented the material as a tracklist, but we still don't know exactly what these 25 songs represent. It can be part of the game radios, a selection used during development or even a list that has no relation to the final version.
There is also no confirmation from Rockstar that these songs will be present in GTA VI.
And even if the material is legitimate, 25 songs would certainly be just a small part of the soundtrack. GTA V, for example, has hundreds of tracks spread across its radio stations, and it is difficult to imagine GTA VI following a very different path.
The most interesting, therefore, may not be to look at this as the "complete sound trail of GTA VI", because we clearly have no elements to affirm this.
What we have is a supposed sample of songs related to the game — and a rather interesting sample.
The leak continues
The publication of the list takes place in the same period when CyberLeek has been releasing a sequence of alleged GTA VI development materials.
In the last few hours scenes have appeared involving vehicles, planes, boats, combat, Jason's movement, internal environments and other mechanics. Now, the music is in the middle of this story.
Until Rockstar shows up or officially presents the GTA VI radios, the list must continue to be treated as a leak.
Still, there's an interesting question: if you could choose one of those 25 songs to play while driving through Vice City for the first time, what would it be?
