Community documents record Yorktown from road signs seen in the leaked material of 2022. Mapping projects usually place the site west or northwest of Port Gellhorn, but their position and nature remain subject to review. Name Origin

Yorktown was registered by the community from the September 2022 leaks. Community bases describe the name on road signs along references to Route 2 and Bocamar Bridge. Since the source is leaked material, HubGTA does not present this data as official confirmation.

How it appears on community maps

The GTA VI Mapping Project and discussions at GTAForums keep Yorktown among the names used to rebuild western Leonida. The exact position changed along the map versions, as new official images were compared.

Possible inspiration

There are discussions that associate Yorktown with Yankeetown, Florida, mainly because of the similarity of the name. This hypothesis was not confirmed by Rockstar and must remain identified as community speculation.
